How Do I Find the UPC for My Release?
How Do I Find the UPC for My Release?
Updated over a year ago

UPC is short for "Universal Product Code." This code is used to uniquely identify products, including albums, EPs, and singles.

Although Anti-Joy technically assigns GTIN-13 codes instead of UPCs, they essentially serve the same purpose. Due to the widespread familiarity with the term "UPC," it is the term used throughout our website.

Whenever you upload an album, a GTIN-13 is generated automatically. To locate the product code:

  1. Sign in to Anti-Joy

  2. Click the album you're interested in

  3. Find "UPC" displayed under your artwork

Anti-Joy's GTINs are for digital distribution within Anti-Joy. If you want to apply for a UPC or GTIN issued by GS1, please contact your local GS1 office here.
