Anti-Joy Just Asked for Verification, How Do I Do That?
Anti-Joy Just Asked for Verification, How Do I Do That?
Updated over a year ago

At times, stores may request for an artist to confirm their artist name. This measure aims to safeguard your content on Anti-Joy and other stores, as well as prevent unauthorized uploads of your music or utilization of your artist name.

In order to grant permission, the artist must contact us directly through one of three ways:

  1. To verify an artist on Twitter, they can send a Direct Message ("DM") to @antijoynews and mention the UPC or album title. However, note that a brand-new Twitter account won't work for verification.

  2. Similarly, if the artist uses Instagram, they can send a DM to @antijoy.club and mention the UPC or album title. But, a brand-new Instagram account won't help with verification.

  3. Alternatively, the artist can send a photo of their driver's license or passport (with personal information blocked out) along with the name or UPC of the release that needs verification.

If the artist is different from the legal name on the ID, please also provide a link to a website where we can associate the legal name with the artist.
