What do services consider a Single?

Typically, when an album has 1-3 tracks each less than 10 minutes, it is considered a "single" by most services. In such cases, major services usually add the "- Single" tag to the album title without any need for manual editing.

What do services consider an EP?

Typically, a release is classified as an "EP" by services when it meets the following criteria:

  • 4-6 tracks with a total running time of 30 minutes or less.

  • 1 to 3 tracks, with one track at least 10 minutes long and a total running time of 30 minutes or less.

What do services consider an Album?

Anything with 7+ tracks will be categorized as an "Album" within services.
