Can I Change a Release Once It's Uploaded?

Yes! You can make edits by visiting your release page, and clicking the edit button (pen icon). We’ll walk you through everything you can edit from there.

For information about rebranding or editing your artist name, please visit this article.

It's important to note that streaming services usually handle these requests in a matter of days. However, it's worth keeping in mind that updates to metadata may take up to 1-2 weeks to be implemented across all services.

The editing process, from initiation to completion, usually takes between one to three weeks. Unfortunately, we are unable to hasten the process once a request has been submitted for our services. Additionally, it is not feasible to cancel a request or submit additional edits until the previous request has been approved.

There are some elements, such as audio files, track listing, language, and ISRCs, that cannot be modified with a metadata update. In order to make changes to these elements, you will have to remove the existing version and upload a corrected version.

It's worth noting that streaming services don't permit users to upload, delete, and then re-upload their content with different metadata, such as artist names or titles. They're enforcing this rule quite strictly nowadays, and even if you attempt to re-upload a deleted version with corrections, the services won't permit it, as there can't be multiple uploads with conflicting metadata.

If you require assistance in removing your release from particular services, or excluding certain countries, please feel free to contact us. We would be glad to assist you.
